Пояснительная записка

Учебное пособие “Listening to the World of Science” предназначается 

для студентов 3–5 курсов химических специальностей университетов. Его 
целью является формирование иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции 
в сфере будущей профессиональной деятельности студентов-химиков, 
что предполагает успешное овладение английским языком как средством 
их дальнейшего профессионального развития.

Предлагаемое учебное пособие ориентировано на создание условий 

для приобретения студентами опыта использования языковых знаний и 
умений в различных ситуациях межличностного и профессионального 
общения; развития творческого подхода к решению профессиональных 
задач; формирования умений самостоятельной работы; активного исполь-
зования современных информационных технологий; коллективной позна-
вательной деятельности.

В пособии вводятся и закрепляются терминологические единицы, ха-

рактерные для химических специальностей, развиваются и совершен-
ствуются коммуникативные навыки и стратегии автономного обучения.

Учебное пособие содержит 4 модуля, которые включают в себя сле-

дующие разделы:

Before watching – предлагает задания на развитие навыков произно-

шения, а также знакомит с основной лексикой модуля.

While watching – представляет собой запись монолога профессио-

нальной направленности и сопровождается заданиями, нацеленными на 
извлечение конкретной информации, развитие навыков конспектирования, 
обобщения, переработки и передачи информации на английском языке. 
Также большое внимание уделяется работе над лексикой общенаучной 
профессиональной направленности.

After watching – имеет своей целью формирование навыков рефериро-

вания на английском языке, а также формирования навыка монологиче-
ской речи по заданным опорам.

Study help – содержит полезные советы по использованию стратегий 

аудирования при изучении английского языка, а также рациональные при-
емы работы над аудиоматериалами различной направленности и сложно-
сти.

Glossary – содержит список общеупотребительной, общенаучной и 

профессиональной лексики с транскрипциями и определениями на ан-
глийском языке. Данный раздел является справочником и призван макси-
мально облегчить усвоение лексики и сделать эффективными работу над 
всеми видами заданий.

Keys – содержит ключи, позволяющие студентам последовательно и 

адекватно проверять правильность выполнения заданий и оценивать 
успешность продвижения в овладении иностранным языком.

Типология используемых в пособии заданий включает в себя:
Произношение – включает задания, имеющие своей целью введение и 

отработку произношения общенаучной и профессиональной терминоло-
гии по обсуждаемой тематике.

Лексика – знакомит с лексикой и определениями терминов, использу-

емых в аудировании. Также задания на сопоставление имеют своей целью 
отработку словосочетаний в рамках изучаемой тематики.

Составление плана, Вопросы и Правильность\неправильность 

высказываний – включает задание на проверку понимания прослушан-
ного текста, его структуры и обсуждаемой тематики в целом.

Синонимы и Антонимы – это задания, нацеленные на расширение 

лексического запаса, поиск соответствующих языковых эквивалентов в 
прослушанном ранее тексте.

Предлоги – акцентирует внимание на специфические фразовые глаго-

лы, а также предлоги, значение которых не совпадает с русскими эквива-
лентами и, следовательно, может быть причиной ошибок и вызывать за-
труднения в продуктивных видах языковой деятельности. 

Заполнение пропусков в тексте – направлено на детальное восприя-

тие и понимание текста и отработку лексических единиц, представленных 
в предыдущих заданиях.

Реферирование – предлагает задания, направленные на развитие уме-

ния фиксировать информацию на английском языке с использованием 
функциональных языковых средств.

Монологичекое высказывание – предлагает задания, направленные 

на формирование умений подготовленного монологического высказыва-
ния с использованием опорного плана, согласующегося со структурой 
прослушанного текста.

Учебное пособие разработано с использованием аутентичных видео-

материалов, основными источниками которых являются Интернет, энциклопедии, 
словари. При подборе учебных материалов учитывались такие 
характеристики, как новизна информации, ее познавательность, соответствие 
учебным и профессиональным потребностям студентов.

Для осуществления самооценки предполагается использование балльно-
рейтинговой системы контроля знаний. Выполнение заданий рассчитывается 
в баллах и оценивается по следующей шкале:

 оценка «4»
84–70%;

 оценка «3»
69–50%;

 оценка «2»
49% и менее.
