speleoclimatotherapy depended on the initial vegetative status of a child. Then the children of the experimental group were divided into three subgroups according to the stress index value: the vagotonics, the normotonics and the sympathotonics. The normalization of the index voltage value was revealed among the children- vagotonics of 6-9 years, with regard to the initial condition, high-frequency power waves were reduced, there was an increase of the vagosympathetic index. In children- sympathotonics of 6-9 years the voltage value of the index was decreasing (p<0.05), the vagosympathetic index relative to the initial state was decreasing, and the rate of low-frequency waves was increasing as well. In the subgroup of the children-vagotonics of 10-12 years after the course of speleoclimatotherapy the stress index significantly increased, and the rate of vagosympathetic index decreased in comparison with the initial one. The results of our study indicate the opposite changes of heart rate variability. In children of all the age groups the heart rate fluctuated significantly. This was due to the age characteristics. At the age of 9-11 years the second regulation restructure occurred, which was expressed by the centralization of heart rhythm and an increased activity of the sympathetic nervous system. When visiting the speleological camera the normalization of heart rate and the stabilization of regulatory systems occured. Speleoclimatotherapy promotes adaptive capacity of the cardiovascular system. Thus, speleoclimatotherapy should be used as a complex non-drug preventive and curative management. REFERENCES 1.
