Предлагаемое пособие представляет собой вторую часть пособия
спутника к английскому обучающему сериалу "Extr@" и содержит яркий, 

занимательный материал, знакомящий с реалиями Великобритании. 

Сериал Extr@ может быть использован как  для начального уровня 

изучения английского языка, так и для обучения английскому, как второму 

иностранному 
языку.  
Данная 
часть 
представляет 
собой 
учебно
методическую разработку  14 эпизодов сериала (17 -30 episodes), каждый из 

которых по 24-25 минут. 

Структура пособия обеспечивает контроль понимания содержания 

сериала. 

Пособие состоит из модулей (MODULE), каждый из которых имеет 

следующую структуру: допросмотровые задания BEFORE YOU WATCH, 

просмотровые задания WHILE YOU WATCH и после просмотровые 

задания AFTER YOU WATCH. 

Помимо обучающих задач, авторы пособия ставят задачу развития 

культурологической компетенции студентов.  С этой целью в пособие 

включены разделы BACKGROUND  INFORMATION и REVISING   

BACKGROUND  INFORMATION  WITH EXTR@!.  

Вопросы теста раскрывают как интересные, так и хрестоматийные
