Прeдисловие Предлагаемое пособие адресовано широкому кругу людей, изучающих английский язык, — учащимся средней и старшей школы, студентам, а также всем желающим повысить уровень владения правильной разговорной речью. Материалы книги будут способствовать развитию таких навыков речевой деятельности, как разговор, чтение и понимание речи на слух. Основная цель пособия — помочь учащемуся развить навык спонтанного высказывания на предложенную тему. Книга состоит из пятнадцати разделов, каждый из которых посвящен определенной теме и включает словарь ключевых слов и выражений, диалоги, вопросы на понимание прослушанного и задания для устного обсуждения. Ключевые слова и предложения учащемуся полезно запомнить и включать в свою речь при обсуждении повседневных ситуаций. Каждое слово или выражение снабжено специальной формой, состоящей из шести клеток, с помощью которой учащийся сможет оценивать свои знания на каждом этапе заучивания. Диалоги, представленные в книге, соответствуют нормам современной разговорной английской речи в повседневных ситуациях общения. Аудиозаписи диалогов, выполненные носителями языка, могут быть использованы для тренировки понимания речи на слух. Ежедневное прослушивание аудиоматериалов, обсуждение предлагаемых вопросов с использованием ключевых слов и выражений позволят учащимся свободнее говорить по-английски, а также понимать речь других людей на этом удивительном языке, так необходимом в современном мире.
