observation. In control experiments (18 animals) with subcutaneous injections of saline and mixture of karbodiamid with BSA in alcohol dependent rats, significant changes of animals water and ethanol intake didn’t observe. In animals administered with the conjugated A-II-BSA, unlike rats control group revealed increase of antibody titers to A-II, as well as an increase 100 and more times of A-II concentrations in the blood plasma. The same increase of A-II activity was also observed during the active immunization of intact nonlinear rats against A-II [2, 3]. These data suggest that not only the exogenous administration of A II, but also increase of the endogenous concentration of A-II in response to the active immunization of rats by conjugated A-II inhibits the ethanol intake in alcohol-dependent animals. Reducing reception Ethanol intake reduction during increasing of the endogenous A-II activity was demonstrated in other experiments [4]. Unlike other methods of the endogenous renin-angiotensin system activation, immunization against A-II leads to long-term changes in ethanol intake, and can be considered as a potential method of alcoholism treatment.
