the share of RSD is observed, in the high-frequency β2-range the values remain almost at the same level, as before gonadectomy. The analysis of the background EEG, after introduction of 17β-estradiol, showed that in the low-frequency ranges no changes occur. In the high-frequency ranges changes are minor and distinctions aren't reliable. After carrying out the replacement therapy (17β-estradiol+progesterone) the spectral analysis showed an increase in RSD in the ∆range (1-4 Hz) 66,22±1,83. The increase in RSD in the ∆range is followed by the decrease in RSD in the high-frequency ranges. The study of quantitative characteristics of SWD demonstrated that after gonadectomy there is a decrease in quantity and duration of SWD in comparison with control (from 3,75±0,44 to 2,00±0,31 and from 9,49±1,49 sec. to 4,08±1,18 sec. (at р<0,05), respectively). After introduction of 17β-estradiol reliable distinctions are not revealed, and after an injection of 17β-estradiol with a progesterone there is a decrease to 1,33±0,21 and 3,2±0,85 sec. (at р<0,05), respectively. One of the main indicators in an assessment of epileptiformny activity on EEG is the peak-wave index: at deficiency of sexual hormones it decreased (from 1,9±0,3 to 0,82±0,23, at р<0,05), after an injection of 17β-estradiol with a progesterone it went down to 0,64±0,17. Thus, it has been established that fluctuation of the levels the ovarian steroids undoubtedly play an important role in the activity of brain, influencing the spectral structure of EEG and the peak-wave activity of its separate areas at absence-epilepsy, in particular COa. 17β-estradiol in combination with progesterone has the desynchronizing impact on bioelectric activity of brain, reflecting the development of brake processes.
